Membership Options

General Membership

A General Member is an individual Sound Practitioner and/or Musician as outlined under the membership criteria.

Membership Criteria:
In order to become an active General Member of CASP and be listed on the website, you must qualify in one of the following categories:

a.) Will have successfully completed training with a qualified teacher or institution in the theory and application of sound work.
b.) Be a practicing musician who applies their music for healing and transformational purposes.
c.) Offer teaching and training for Soundwork practitioners under an established brand or institution.
d.) Be a teacher of music or a school of music.
e.) Be a researcher in the field of Music Therapy or sound work.
f.) Offer Kirtan, Chant or healing music in performance or group settings.
g.) Be a seller or maker of quality sound instruments.

Benefits include:
a.) A web listing with profile and photograph on the CASP website.
b.) An active website link.
c.) The ability to post personal events, workshops and performances to the community.
d.) The opportunity to submit articles to be listed on the CASP website.
e.) Have voice and vote on the decision making process of CASP.

The annual membership fee for a General Member is $100.

Supporting Membership

A supporting member can be from any walk of life that would like to show their support for the CASP community and Sound Practitioners across Canada.

A Supporting Member:
a.) Is not required to meet any of the criteria of a General member.
b.) Is not eligible to receive a web site listing.
c.) May submit articles for consideration for the CASP web site.
d.) Will receive all CASP newsletters.
e.) Know that they are supporting a worthy organization.

The annual membership fee for a Supporting Member is $50.00.

Organization Membership

Organizations and schools must be involved in a field of Music Therapy or Soundwork.

Benefits include:
a.) A web listing with profile and photograph on the CASP website.
b.) An active website link.
c.) The ability to post personal events, workshops and performances to the community.
d.) The opportunity to submit articles to be listed on the CASP website.

The annual membership fee for Institutions, Schools and other Organizations is $200.
