kevinballKevin Ball has been a musician for over 35 years. Principally a drumset musician, Kevin has also explored various hand drum traditions, and studied Tabla drumming with Pandit Sharda Sahai and Bob Becker. Having studied music at Humber College and the University of Windsor, he has also explored a variety of other musical paths, including Mbira, Ghanaian drumming, and Indonesian Gamelan. He has begun a path of study in Soundwork as Soulwork with Gary Diggins and is also studying The Foundations of Buddhist Thought with Geshe Tashi Tsering. Kevin is also a student of Tai Chi/Qigong and the principles of the Universal Healing Tao. Kevin has taught private percussion lessons for over 30 years and also freelances as a graphic designer. He is always eager to explore the journey through sound as contemplation, healing and dialog.
